Counter
Cotovia Counter (hospital visit support)
When you need to go to a general hospital, our Japanese help desk inside partner hospitals supports you in Japanese from reception to payment. It means you don't have to navigate a large hospital abroad on your own.
Cotovia Counter is not a place for medical consultations
Cotovia Counter is not a medical facility. It is a desk that provides administrative support such as medical interpreting, booking on your behalf and insurance claims, and does not perform medical acts such as examination, diagnosis or prescribing. If you need medical care, please use Cotovia Clinic's in-person or online consultations.

Vaccination
Vaccinations
The timing, types and number of doses can differ between Japan and the local country. Cotovia has its own chart comparing the Japanese and local schedules, and adjusts so you can follow the same flow as in Japan.
From 1 month old
Starting to plan vaccinations at around 1 month old makes later adjustments easier.A range of vaccines
We offer several types, including 5-in-1 and 6-in-1 combination vaccines, MMR and chickenpox.Schedule comparison chart
We have a chart showing the Japanese and local schedules side by side, so you can see how far you've come and what's next.Check in advance on LINE
Send us a photo of your maternal and child health handbook or vaccination record on LINE, and a doctor will review it and advise you on a schedule.
Please be sure to bring your maternal and child health handbook
Without it, we can't check the vaccination record, so vaccinations can't be given. We'll return the handbook to you after the consultation before you go home.
When vaccinations can't be given
- A fever of 37.5℃ or higher, or other signs of illness
- A past history of allergic reactions or anaphylaxis
- The doctor decides vaccination isn't appropriate
- You don't have the maternal and child health handbook
If your child had a cold with fever within the past 1 week, we'll check in advance whether vaccination is possible. Please let us know on LINE before your visit.
