Introduction

We are looking for a qualified medical practitioner with a current practicing license who provides medical practices that are compliant with the regulations and laws according to the Ministry of Health, Singapore (MOH) as well as maintaining the health of all patients according to company philosophy & policies.

Main (Clinical) Responsibilities:

  1. Provide medical care to all categories of patients with a variety of diseases and injuries expected in general practitioner clinic.
  2. Conduct focused health assessment, perform thorough physical examination through diagnostic medical tests including blood tests and ultrasound examination, get medical history and other information comprehensively from patients; new and follow up patients.
  3. Analyze findings, inform patient of their current condition and explain plan as well as treatment plan.
  4. Order treatment plan including prescribe medications according to clinic treatment guidelines.
  5. Advise patients on methods for prevention of diseases as necessary.
  6. Prepare patient record accurately in clinic system using SOAP standard.
  7. Perform procedures, minor surgeries and treatment according to their scope of practice.
  8. Perform vaccination injection and provide consultation on immunization schedules as per regulatory programs and country of origin.
  9. Provide antenatal and postnatal medical care.
  10. Provide infant development health check-up and consultation on scheduled vaccination for infant.
  11. Refers patients to the related specialists or other practitioner for further specialized treatment.
  12. And other administrative, financial, human resource responsibilities related with medical team and clinic overall operation.

Qualification

  1. A medical practitioner registered under Medical Registration Act of Singapore
  2. Have full registration with the Singapore Medical Council
  3. Have a valid practicing certificate
  4. Have at least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field (clinical practices)

Monthly Salary (S$)

Determined based on previous salary.

Introduction

To serve as an interpreter for the patients and team members and supports the operations of clinic. You will also be conveying medical information between speakers of Japanese and English languages according to the policies and procedures of clinic relating to patient confidentiality, informed consent, non – discrimination, code of ethics and standards of practice. In addition, you will also support the clinic operation as a receptionist and dispenser in providing accurate, efficient clerical and administrative duties, including dispensing duties according to clinic policies and procedures to ensure excellent and quality services to all patients and in compliant with the regulations and laws according to the Ministry of Health, Singapore. You may also be assigned to other positions and/or be entrusted with additional responsibilities. Such modifications shall take effect from the date the Company notifies you of such changes.

Main (Interpretation & Patient Coordinator) Responsibilities:

  1. Help facilitate successful delivery of translation services to patients and physicians / nurse. She is responsible for communicating the physician’s diagnosis, treatment plan and advice with the patient during physical examination. Transmit information accurately and completely. Convey complex ideas simply so that the lay person can understand.
  2. Perform consecutive interpreting. Begin interpreting after the speaker has completed a group of words or sentences. Take notes while listening to the speaker before presenting the interpretation.
  3. Serve as a cultural and linguistic resource to both patients and the physicians or providers. Be aware of cultural sensitivity issues, and ensure patient – physician confidentiality.
  4. Maintain patient’s privacy when called upon to convey personal information. Perform written translation as required in patient encounters, such as filling out forms, and medical instructions and medication schedules, administrative translation, such as letters to patients, documents and patient materials including medical reports.
  5. Manage the Clinic’s operation and administration.
  6. Lead team members to accomplish organization’s goals and objectives; inspire confidence and motivation; define expectations clearly while maintaining personal effectiveness under pressure.
  7. Manage team performance.
  8. And other administrative, receptionist, medicine dispenser responsibilities related with general operation team & medical team

Qualification

  1. At least 2 years working experience in customer service industry, or medical clinic setting is an asset.
  2. Fluency in spoken and written Japanese language as well as fluency in English.
  3. Strong communication skills and awareness in cultural diversities.
  4. Excellent customer service skills.
  5. Good interpersonal skills, relate and communicate positively, effectively and professionally with patients, doctors and colleagues
  6. Competent in computer system and applications
  7. Experience in handling information technology.
  8. Basic knowledge in medical terminology and health care practices.
  9. Good mathematical skills.

Introduction

The Clinic Assistant supports the operations of clinic in providing accurate, efficient clerical and administrative duties as receptionist, including dispensing and clinical duties according to clinic policies and procedures to ensure excellent and quality services to all clients. Provide administrative support service in clinic according to company philosophy & polices and medical practices are compliant with the regulations and laws according to the Ministry of Health, Singapore (MOH).

Main (Reception & Clinic Assistance) Responsibilities:

  1. Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner
  2. Replying to daily customer’s enquiries
  3. Able to serve customers by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
  4. Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically
  5. Make appointments for clients
  6. Liaise with vendors, suppliers and hospitals as required.
  7. Support the Clinic’s operation by assuming role as a dispenser.
  8. Adhere to policies and procedures on dispensing of medications., and is knowledgeable in medicines prescribed.
  9. Prepare medicine for patient as per prescribed by doctor.
  10. Key in medicine prescribed by doctor. Ensure correct patient, correct medicine, correct dosage, correct route, correct time, and correct quantity.
  11. Check and tidy Consultation and Treatment rooms daily. Replenish supplies accordingly.
  12. Assist doctor to check patient’s vital sign.
  13. Check medicine and clinical supplies regularly. Place order accordingly.
  14. Responsible in monthly stock count and report.
  15. Clean and sterilize surgical instruments as per policy.
  16. Assist doctor or Nurse in performing diagnostic tests, treatment and patient care as required.
  17. Is familiar and able to operate all the basic medical instruments used in the clinic. Check and maintain equipment to ensure they are working properly. Care and dispatch lab specimens correctly. Follow up / trace lab results and inform doctor and patient accordingly.
  18. Check and record temperature of Vaccine Refrigerator daily. Understands the importance of cold chain for storage of vaccines. Inform any discrepancies immediately.
  19. Respond to medical emergencies accordingly. Assist in checking Emergency trolley and equipment.

Qualification

  1. Have outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service.
  2. Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  5. Problem-solving ability.

Introduction

The role of the Staff Nurse in our clinic is to work collaboratively with the Physician to provide care for the entire patient population. The Staff Nurse focuses on assessment, holistic nursing care and management, healthy lifestyle support and education to the clients with a goal of improving health outcomes according to evidenced based clinical practice guidelines and the philosophy and values of our clinic.

Main (Clinical) Responsibilities:

  1. Primary duty is to provide efficient, timely and safe nursing care and management according to patients’ needs.
  2. Demonstrate an emphatic and caring approach to patient and relatives and ensure that the patient’s dignity and respect is maintained at all times.
  3. Assess patient’s health status including the psychosocial, emotional, cultural and spiritual dimensions of health.
  4. Check and record patient’s vital signs, temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, height, allergies and pain scale.
  5. Triage and prioritize urgent and non- urgent patients according to policy and protocol. Respond to emergencies promptly as required. Check Emergency trolley daily and record. Teach non clinical staff on how to respond to emergencies.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members. Use SBAR model of communication to endorse patient information to the physician and other staff. Assist in transfer and referrals of patients as needed.
  7. Assist physicians in physical examination and diagnostic procedures for the patients. Prepare and set up examination trays / equipment as needed.
  8. Perform and /or assist physician in extraction of blood from the patients. Ensure correct patient and specimens are dispatched to respective laboratories in appropriate timeframe. Perform diagnostic point of care blood tests.
  9. Follow up on investigation results / reports of patients. Note any abnormalities and inform Physician immediately. File reports after the physician has endorsed the documents.
  10. Administer medications via intra-muscular, intra- venous and subcutaneous route as per physician’s order and scope of nursing practice, keeping in mind the 6 rights of medication administration according to policy and procedure.
  11. Perform cannulation for IV therapy as ordered and maintain IV infusion according to policy.
  12. Administer vaccines as per immunization schedule and as required and ordered by physician. Maintain the cold chain for vaccines, monitor the correct temperature of fridge for vaccines. Maintain accurate vaccination record as per policy.
  13. Replenish drugs and medical supplies in the dispensary daily.
  14. Maintain the Dangerous Drug Record according to statutory regulations. Check with another trained staff (double – check) when checking and removing Dangerous Drug.
  15. Assist in dispensing of medications. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on the latest vaccines and medications. Help in developing teaching materials for patient teaching on medication and vaccines and/or perform patient / family teaching as required. Participate in campaigns as needed.
  16. Abide with infection control practices according to clinic established standards on Infection Control. Clean and sterilize instruments as per policy and procedure. Dispose clinical waste and sharps appropriately. Carry out terminal disinfection as necessary.
  17. Check expiry date, monitor stock level and record of medical stocks and supplies regularly. Order stock accordingly. Assist in medicine stock take monthly.
  18. Check and maintain all medical equipment in the clinic are functional.
  19. Provide patient / family education related to healthy living, prevention of injury, illness and communicable diseases, health education on chronic diseases and lifestyle modifications.
  20. Adhere to clinic policies and procedures to guide nursing practice.
  21. Mentor new staff ensuring that the Clinic’s goals and objectives are met.
  22. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Collect data for analysis and participate in process to address identified issues. Assist in hand hygiene audits.
  23. Plan and participate to call patients for follow up monitoring, screening and immunization.
  24. Maintain professional expertise with a strong evidenced based approach and continuing education to guide practice and delivery of care.
  25. And other administrative responsibilities related with medical team.

Qualification

  1. Bachelor Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Nursing.
  2. Valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
  3. Minimum of two years’ experience as a Staff Nurse in medical-surgical nursing.
  4. Competency in administration of immunization.
  5. Knowledge of acts or legislation that govern practice.
  6. Competency in information technology and computer skills.
